The Missouri State Public Health Laboratory (MSPHL) has actively protected the publicís health since 1906 by providing clinical and environmental laboratory testing services to local, state, and federal partners. Various Missouri state laws, regulations, and rules establish and define these important laboratory programs at the MSPHL. These laws govern and direct laboratory services and operations to provide general accountability in ensuring the promulgation of quality public health laboratory programs.
