Microsoft Excel 2003 Version

An Excel file of the Geocoding Data System is available for download. The file is sorted alphabetically by city name. In order to sort by any of the codes in Excel, select the top left cell (A1) in the spreadsheet, click under "Data" at the top of Excel and then select "Sort." It should be the first option at the top. At this point a smaller sort box should appear. Under “My list has” choose "header row." The names of the fields should appear in the “Sort by” drop-down box. Using this drop-down box, you can choose to sort the data by city, ZIP or county.

An Excel file of the Geocoding Data System is available for download. The file is sorted alphabetically by city name. In order to sort by any of the codes in Excel, select the top left cell (A1) in the spreadsheet, click under "Data" at the top of Excel and then select "Sort." At this point a smaller sort box should appear. Select the check box next to “My data has headers” at the right side of the box.  The names of the fields should appear in the “Sort by” drop-down box.  Using this drop-down box, you can choose to sort the data by the city, ZIP or county names or codes.
